PAPERBACK ONLY Let's start with an apology. Last issue saw a reduction in page count, implemented on the fly and without even having time to notify readers. Unfortunately, the cost of paper, which all manga readers (and others) are now aware of, forced us to cut some pages to avoid increasing the cover price. Someone has already asked me if the magazine's page count will increase again in the future. The only answer I can give is: we hope so. It will depend on the aforementioned cost of paper and sales performance. In any case, with both issue 4 and this issue 5, I think we managed to put together a good number of features and manga that will pique and entertain readers. And among the great protagonists of this issue are our beloved "big robots"! Claudio Iemmola creates the cover with an extraordinary Danguard. Claudio is a robot specialist; his comic "Robotics" is beautiful and I encourage you to find and read it, even though it came out a few years ago. In the near future, we hope to feature his images on our pages again. Claudio's Danguard introduces a piece on the Shogun Warriors, little-known in Italy. Then there's Gundam, the first of a series of articles we'll be dedicating to this famous robotic/sci-fi brand. As we've written in the past, on the pages of Nippon Shock Magazine we focus primarily on current and future productions, but that doesn't mean our hearts don't beat strongly for the idols of the past. In our space-time continuum, there's room for everyone, especially if they enchant and fascinate us. Happy reading.
