In this issue, we wanted to celebrate the progenitor of Go Nagai's super robot dynasty, MAZINGER Z, still just shy of its 50th anniversary. A full 38 pages are dedicated to the "Steel Fortress," with insights, images, news, and curiosities. We also analyze the series, as well as the medium-length films featuring it, the manga, and its spin-offs, both manga and anime, including those never produced (Daimazinger, for example). Furthermore, we explore old and new mecha, the Chogokin, the soundtrack, and, thanks to a new "Animated Video Games" column, the VGs featuring it. Furthermore, we analyze the GOD-DEMON aspect and its meaning, which is the basis of its creation and its very name. Contributors to this Mega-Dossier on MAZINGER Z include Silvio Greco, Alessio Gagliano, Andrea Destro, John Kaminari, Fausto Avaro, Luca Digennaro, and our editor, Adriano Forgione. The magazine also features other articles of considerable interest to fans: - The now-regular column by sociologist Marco Pellitteri titled: "Why are there fewer and fewer shojo in Italy?" Also for a female readership, but not only: An in-depth article on GEORGIE by Daniela Asmundo and Fabio Cassella, with an analysis of the story, anime, manga, gadgets, and merchandise. Then, an incredible piece on MINKY MOMO, and what appears to be a sort of curse hanging over this character. This issue sees the return of Tokusatsu with BORN FREE, the half-live-action, half-anime series about the dinosaur rescue team, written by Emanuele Massetti and featuring informational panels by Giovanni Lazzini, curator of Toku Roboi Channel. And finally, TokyoTiger magazine (Franca Zoli) and Chiara Zoli close with the column AVANTI FUFFA (now a veritable guide to navigating the world of collecting and essential items for a true collector), dedicated this issue to the vintage objects of the witch Pelsia, aka EVELYN. The issue closes with the usual column by chef Oji San, FAME DA OTAKU, author of the upcoming book of the same name on "animated dishes." Allow me to welcome four of our new contributors, as we want to offer you increasingly varied and expert contributions: Daniela Asmundo, John Kaminari, Silvio Greco, Giovanni Lazzini, and Ivan Capoccia.
